Staff

Dr. Carlton graduated from the University of TN at Knoxville in 1983. After graduating, Doc spent a year working in North Carolina. He has been practicing in Jackson since 1985. He does general surgery, Internal Medicine, dentistry and laser therapy. Dr. Carlton has been married to his wife, Melanie for over 35 years, has two children, six grandchildren and two standard poodles. 

Beth is a licensed veterinary medical technician. She is a graduate of the University of TN at Martin, class of 2016, with a B.S. in Agriculture concentration in Veterinary Health Technology. She is certified in Laser Therapy. She has been part of the Carlton Animal Clinic team since July of 2016. She is from Milan, TN. Beth is a lover of the Walt Disney World theme parks. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her dogs, Chevy and Pepper, as well as spending time with her husband, Chris and her two beautiful children Chloe and Cameron.

Tiffany is an experienced licensed veterinary medical technician. She is a graduate of the University of TN at Martin, class of 2013, with a B.S. in Agriculture concentration in Animal Science and class of 2018 with a B.S. in Agriculture concentration in Veterinary Health Technology. She began her work in veterinary medicine in November of 2014 and joined the Carlton Animal Clinic team in September of 2020. She was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, grew up in Dyersburg, TN, and is currently residing in Alamo, TN with her husband, Joash and son Asher. Tiffany loves to watch hockey, crochet, and spend time with her family and four dogs- Jesse, Molly, Zoey, and Buckshot.
